Christy and Kevin Bordelon were driving home the day after Christmas when a pickup ran a red light and hit them, said police.

It happened at the intersection of Highway 6 and Longenbaugh in northwest Harris County.

The family told 11 News that crosses will be placed at the crash site at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police said Ineka Marble was driving the truck that hit the Bordelon’s vehicle.

She was released from the hospital Monday, and she appeared in court Tuesday morning.

Marble is charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter and is being held on a $40,000 bond for both charges.

Officials say that Marble won’t be allowed to drive if she makes bond.
