Stray bullet from New Year’s gunfire hits Houston man

HOUSTON – Earlier this month, local law enforcement warned about the dangers of bringing in the New Year with gunfire.
Nonetheless, guns were blazing on Clay Landing and Bridgewater Meadow in West Harris County.
As a result, a Houston man is recovering in the hospital from a gunshot wound.
Police say he was hit by a stray bullet that came through the wall of his home.
It's not clear who fired the shots, but the victim is in serious condition.
