GALVESTON, Texas – Join Moody Gardens this holiday and experience the magic of the season at its best. From turkey to twinkling lights, a fantastical adventure awaits the entire family.
Thanksgiving Day Buffet
Thursday November 27, 2008
11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Sit down to a fabulous feast with family and friends this Thanksgiving. The Moody Gardens Hotel will host its annual Thanksgiving Buffet in the beautiful Frances Anne Moody Ballroom on November 27. The bountiful array will feature a delectable selection of culinary specialties and traditional holiday fare. Seating times are available beginning at 11:30 a.m. with the last seating at 3:00 p.m.

Festival of Lights
Nov. 22 - Dec. 17 (Thursday – Saturday) & Dec. 18 – 31 (nightly)
6:00 pm -10:00 pm
In the spirit of tradition, this event features a winding trail with dozens of lighted scenes sparkling over Galveston Bay. Friends and family will gather nightly to enjoy lights, music and live entertainment. Admission is just $3.95 per person.

Dinner & Show – A Moody Gardens Christmas Spectacular
Dec. 18 – 28 (Daily Matinee and Dinner- Show performances)

Join Moody Gardens for this exhilarating musical presentation blending traditional and original Christmas songs. The one-of-a-kind show features performances by the brightest artists in Texas coupled with sensational sound and lighting to create a dazzling experience. Enjoy caroling and hors d’oeuvres followed by a traditional three course Christmas dinner. Then sit back for a Christmas spectacular experience that will have you singing in the aisles.
From Dec 18 through the 28, daily Matinee performances will be offered with a start time of 3:30 p.m. and daily Dinner-Show performances with a start time of 6:30 p.m. The Matinee show does not include the three course dinner, but features traditional Christmas snacks, cookies and seasonal beverages.

Midnight in the Gardens New Year’s Eve Gala

Ring in the New Year in grand style with Moody Gardens. The New Year’s Eve party will feature non-stop entertainment by the fabulous show band Eclipse as well as surprise entertainment to further spice up the festivities. Guests will enjoy an open bar, elaborate food stations, deluxe party favors, a champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight.
