Man dies in Pearland house fire

HOUSTON – A man died in a house fire in Pearland Tuesday night.
It happened in the 4800 block of Lochman.
Investigators don’t know what sparked the fire, but they say it is not considered suspicious.
The home was left almost completely charred, and the scent of smoke was still in the air Wednesday morning.
Firefighters arrived to find the home completely engulfed in flames.
They were able to keep the fire from spreading, but were not able to save the man inside the home.
