Funeral arrangements set for men killed in news helicopter crash

HOUSTON—Funeral arrangements are now set for the two men who died in a helicopter crash on Monday.

They were both contract workers for ABC 13.
Pilot John Downhower and photographer Dave Garrett were on their way to cover a shooting scene in Montgomery County when their chopper went down in a wooded area.
An investigation is under way into what happened, but it could be weeks before investigators figure out a cause.
A memorial service for John Downhower is set for 11 a.m. Friday. It’s being held at the Fellowship of the Woodlands Church in The Woodlands.
Dave Garrett’s funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the River Point Community Church in Richmond.
