Homeowner shoots suspected burglar

HOUSTON – Houston Police are investigating a shooting where a homeowner fought back and shot a suspected burglar. 

Investigators say, two men broke into a home on Pecan villas in southeast Houston. The homeowner heard the suspects. He grabbed his gun and shot at them.

He hit one of the men. The injured suspect was taken to the hospital and is in serious condition. The other one was arrested.
