Houston area under ozone watch

HOUSTON -- Harris, Galveston and Brazoria counties will be under an ozone watch today, the state’s environmental agency declared.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality issued the watch saying atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing high levels of ozone air pollution in the Houston, Galveston and Brazoria area.
The TCEQ recommends that those with breathing problems, lung disease as well as the elderly and young children limit their outdoor activities on Sunday.
