Fight to save a convicted cop killer continues in Houston

The fight to save a convicted cop killer is being played out in a downtown Houston courtroom.
Lawyers for Juan Quintero continued to present their case in the penalty phase of his capital murder trial.
Quintero was convicted of killing Houston Police Officer Rodney Johnson.
On Wednesday, Quintero’s mom, aunt and brother took the stand pleading for his life.
A nun who had known Quintero since childhood took the stand Tuesday.
Prosecutors are asking for the death penalty.
