HOUSTON – A dad was dead and a son wounded after a double shooting in Houston early Sunday morning.

According to reports, a man and his son were in a home in the 4500 block of Shadow Oaks when a dark, four-door vehicle arrived at the residence.

Two suspects exited the vehicle and shot the men.

Witnesses said a black male was seen fleeing the scene on foot as the suspects’ vehicle drove off.

Both the father and son were taken to Ben Taub, where the father later died.
