Raw video: Victim laid to rest
HOUSTON -- The victim of a would-be carjacking was laid to rest Monday.
Tina Davila was killed April 16 as she tried to pay her cell phone bill at a northeast Houston store. Police say Timoteo Rios, an illegal immigrant, tried to grab her keys from her, but she fought back because her 4-month-old baby was in the car.
Then Rios allegedly stabbed her to death. He's on the run, and police believe he may be on his way to Mexico.
The alleged getaway driver, 17-year-old Kennedy Escoto, is charged with aggravated robbery. He was scheduled to be in court Monday, but it was postponed.
Friends and family of the victim say his arrest has brought some peace.
"It's a sigh of relief, and at the same time, it makes you -- kinda takes some of the anger away, you know," friend Grady Hough said. "It does. It just makes you feel a little better even though it's not going to do anything for her. But it makes you feel better."

Meanwhile, the search continues for Rios, who faces a charge of capital murder.
