HOUSTON — On a bride’s big day, a lot of attention is given to the details. But after the fun’s all over, they say all that’s left are the photographs.

Except for Mr. and Mrs. Zora.

If it weren’t for some home video and their wedding bands, you’d never know they were married a year ago.

Why?

Lindsay Zora and her mom hired Jose Rodriguez of Jono Studios to capture her wedding day on film.

Rodriguez took the couple’s engagement pictures, which were good.

He took the bridal portrait too.

But the Zoras have nothing to fill their $1,200, 40-page graphic wedding album, because Rodriguez went AWOL on them.

“No return phone calls, no returned e-mails, not even an acknowledgement that he received them,” Zora said.

Turns out, Zora isn’t the only blushing bride who’s red in the face over not getting her wedding album.

The Better Business Bureau has received at least eight complaints against Jono Studios – and it’s always the same one: No wedding album.

Jono Studios is based in Rosenberg.  Supposedly, Rodriguez works out of his home. 

He did not return 11 News’ phone calls or e-mails either.

“You just need to check references or ask for references when you can. If I could do it over again, that would definitely be what I’d ask for,” Zora said.

So while the Zoras celebrated their first anniversary, they could only hope they’d have something to show for it by the time the next year rolls around … or at least by the time they have kids.
