Search continues for River Oaks kidnappers
She's 'Rambo' husband says of wife who fought off attackers

Houston police are checking out leads and hoping the public will help track down two men who kidnapped a River Oaks resident Thursday.
A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
The victim talked with 11 News a few hours after her terrifying ordeal.
"This is very scary this is happening in our city. Anywhere in our city,” said the woman, who didn't want to be identified since her attackers are still on the loose.
She said she was near the end of her morning walk when suddenly, out of nowhere, two men pulled her off the street.
"I was kicking and screaming and fighting to try and get away. They were large and strong, and threw me into the trunk of their car,” she told 11 News.
The two men drove away with the woman trapped in the back and fighting to get out.
"I was still kicking and screaming and I noticed something glowing in the dark,” she said. “And I'd heard there's a latch on the inside of the trunk, so I pulled that out."
It was the emergency latch release, found in almost all late model vehicles -- a latch added after a series of incidents in which children were trapped inside a trunk.
In this case, it proved useful for another purpose. Escape.
The victim jumped out of the moving car and ran for help. She was shocked and scared, but alive.
"I think I wouldn't be here today, if I hadn't opened that trunk and jumped out,” she said.
Police are searching for two men believed to be driving a silver, four-door sedan.
"We do have some evidence, but right now I'm going to leave it general just to help us out on the investigation,” said Houston Police spokesman John Chomiak.
Sources told 11 News earlier in the day that a cell phone was found and could be a possible lead.
Meantime, residents of one of the richest neighborhoods in Houston were on guard after news of the kidnapping spread quickly through the neighborhood.
Amber McCullagh lives less than a mile from where it all took place.
"The lesson to take from it, even in a very upscale neighborhood, it's probably still best to be prudent,” she said.
Prudent, knowing that that crime can happen at anytime in any place.
If you have any information on the attack, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-8477.
