Missing pregnant woman's family wants boyfriend's help in search
06:50 PM CST on Monday, February 11, 2008
The family of a missing pregnant woman was pleading for help Monday.
They want her boyfriend to come forward with information.
He was the last person to see Tierra Adams.
Adams’ family and friends held an emotional news conference, saying they’re hoping for a Valentine’s Day miracle – that Tierra and her unborn daughter will return safely to them.
Adams is due to give birth Feb. 14.
Community activist Quannel X announced plans for a massive search for Adams Tuesday afternoon.
Her boyfriend says he left her alone in northwest Harris County Jan. 29 after an argument.

But Adams’ family says they can’t understand why the boyfriend hasn’t been involved in the search for his girlfriend and unborn daughter.
“We’re not saying that he’s involved in her disappearance, but we are saying this: if you’re not guilty for being involved in the disappearance, then you are guilty of leaving a woman, 8-months-pregnant, on the side of the road at 1 a.m. in the morning,” Quannel X said.
Adams mother remained hopeful.
“I’ll always have that hope that I’ll find my child and my grandbaby alive, yes I do,” Rose Adams said. “But every day that goes by, it’s always the other side that you have to think about.”
Quannel X also called on the Houston Police Department to do more to investigate Adams’ disappearance. He said family members and supporters will camp out in front of the boyfriend’s home on Wednesday if he doesn’t join the search.
A prayer vigil will be held in front of the boyfriend’s house on Valentine’s Day if Adams hasn’t been found by them.
