New helicopter added to Life Flight fleet

A new high-tech helicopter was presented by Memorial Hermann’s CEO to the community as a life-saving holiday gift Friday.
The copter is an addition to the healthcare system’s Life Flight air ambulance fleet.
It was blessed by a group of religious leaders. It’s the first of six new helicopters for Memorial Hermann.
The total price for the fleet upgrade is $36 million. More than half of that money has already been raised.
