Pharmacy employee jailed for allegedly stealing drugs
10:24 AM CDT on Tuesday, October 30, 2007
A former employee of a Pasadena pharmacy has been arrested for allegedly pocketing the drugs she was supposed to be selling.
Stacie Fason is charged with felony theft.
She worked at an HEB pharmacy on the Fairmont Parkway, but has since been fired.
Police say her crime was caught on surveillance video.
She reportedly stole more than 200 hydrocodone pain pills at a cost of $6 each.
HEB says that prevented some customers from getting their prescriptions filled.
If convicted, Fason could get up to two years in prison.
