Houston rapper Lil Flip has been charged with credit card abuse.

The rapper, whose real name is Wesley Weston, turned himself into the Harris County Sheriff's Department on Saturday. Quanell X accompanied him.

He insists he is innocent and said the whole thing is a misunderstanding. Weston said he also looks forward to his day in court.

Weston posted bond and was released.

As Lil Flip, Weston has collaborated with a number of top performers including Chamillionaire and Nelly.
