$25,000 reward offered in Metro bus driver rape case

A $25,000 reward is being offered in the rape of a female Metro bus driver last Sunday.

Police say this man raped a Metro bus driver.
The attack happened near Rio Bonito and Tres Lagunas at the end of her route in southwest Houston.
Police say the man waited until the bus was empty at the end of the route then sexually assaulted and robbed the woman at gunpoint.
Metro Police Chief Tom Lambert says this case is top priority. “This individual committed a violent act against a public service and public servant. We need to get the individual identified, get him charged and get him off the street.”
Police say the attacker is a man in his early 20s with bushy long hair and a Cajun accent.
