A camera captured the sledgehammer bandit at the Americash Bank in the 5600 block of Almeda.
The video shows the suspect armed with a sledgehammer as he enters and exits the bank.
The suspect is a black man, 30- 40 years old, about five-foot nine inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds.
He’s left some robberies in a green minivan and one in a white compact.
A $5,000 reward goes to the person with information that leads to a conviction. To help police, call Harris County Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-8477.
