Former lawman blames meth for life of crime

A former Brazoria County sheriff’s deputy says his addiction to methamphetamine led him into a life of crime.

Authorities say the father and son duo broke into several storage units in the towns of Sweeney and Brazoria.
The father says his meth addiction was costing him $1,500 a week.
