HISD to name new facility after former superintendent Rod Paige

He’s a former U.S. Secretary of Education and a former HISD superintendent.

Now the HISD school board is looking to honor Rod Paige.

They are proposing naming the new facility built to replace Bowie Elementary school after him.

Roderick Paige Elementary School will be located in the 7500 block of Curry Street.
