Comcast, 20 new channels move in

On Tuesday Time Warner cable becomes Comcast.

That will eventually impact 750,000 cable, internet and phone customers in the Houston area.

Cable is the first to switch over.

In all 20 new channels will be added.

The good news for customers is that you don’t need to do a thing.

Also, the costs will remain the same.

Comcast is also promising better customer service.

They’re doing away with those all day service calls and implementing to two to four hour service windows instead.

New channels

The five new HD networks which will be available include:

ESPN2 HD (Channel 293)

MDH: Music High-Definition (Channel 296)

Versus/The Golf Channel HD (Channel 294)

Starz HD (Channel 415)

Cinemas HD (Channel 419)

Other networks include:

NFL Network (Channel 113)

GolTV (Channel 104)

PBS Kids Sprout (Channel 128)

Logo (channel 160)

MoviePlex (Channel 149)

Indieplex (Channel 167)

Retroplex (Channel 168)

Flix (Channel 170)

The Africa Channel (240)

Gospel Music Channel (Channel 172)

ImaginAsian TV (Channel 241)

Fox Reality (Channel 250)

ESPN Deportes (Channel 513)
