Raw video: Angus cattle sale at Minute Maid Park
Minute Maid Park looked, smelled and sounded more like a cattle ranch than a ball field Thursday.
Some of the finest Angus in the country were auctioned off as part of Rodeo Houston.
These animals won't end up on anyone's dinner plate but their offspring will.

Minute Maid Park looked, smelled and sounded more like a cattle ranch than a ball field Thursday.
“We're all seed stock producers here. These animals here will be brought back to herds and used as seed stock to build great genetic herds,” said James Burks of 44 Farms.
The Angus that were auctioned came from 31 ranches across the country.
