Few people knew Anna Nicole Smith better than Troy Hollier. The Houston police officer was Smith's former security guard and close confidante over the last six years.

Hollier shared his unique insight in an exclusive interview with 11 News reporter Jeff McShan.

"She was a very private person," said Hollier.

After Smith hired him to provide security, they became fast friends.

Hollier was even called to testify in Florida last week during a hearing over who would get custody of Smith's body.

During the hearing, Hollier was kept in a witness room and didn't know about Judge Larry Seidlin's controversial style until he actually took the stand.

"No professionalism," Hollier said.

When Hollier testified that he never personally saw Anna Nicole Smith taking prescription drugs, the judge decided he wasn't a credible witness and ordered him off the stand.

"You're sitting up there, you're supposed to tell the truth -- and I have been doing that as a police officer for 12 years -- and someone attacks your credibility," said Hollier. "Like that was devastating to me. I was up there, everything I said up there was the truth and I will back it right now. It's the truth."

Hollier is considering filing a complaint against the judge.

"I have never seen her take any kind of pills," Hollier said.

What the judge said bothered him so much he ended up calling Howard Stern about it later.

With all that being said, Hollier says his main concern now is about Stern.

"Daniel and Anna was his life," Hollier said. "And I'm concerned more than I can say cause he's lived with them for 10, 11 almost 12 years actually."

Hollier said he and Howard are upset that the custody battle and the burial issues have turned into a three-ring circus.

He just wants his close friend to be buried in peace and he will be there when she is finally laid to rest.
