Teen killed in crash with cop

An 18-year-old was killed in an accident involving a METRO Police officer.
Apparently the off-duty officer collided with the teen’s vehicle Saturday evening.
The crash occurred at the intersection of the Beltway 8 feeder road at Scott.

The scene of a fatal accident involving an 18-year-old woman and an off-duty police officer.
The officer survived and was taken to the hospital, but the young female driver in the other car died.
Investigators said they believe the young woman either ran a stop sign or did not realize the oncoming driver did not have a stop sign and pulled in front of him.
