Dogs attack Shetland pony

The little horse is being treated for severe bites to the snout and legs.
Two pit bulls were among the dogs that attacked a Shetland pony Wednesday morning in northwest Harris County.
The pack of dogs, which also included a mastiff, were running loose in a trailer park around 4 a.m.
They attacked the pony which was in a yard near the 3200 block of Bobbie.
The owner of two of the dogs rushed the horse to a Crosby veterinarian for treatment.

The pony is being treated for severe bite wounds to the legs and head.
Dr. James Hofman told 11 News he's not sure if it will survive.
It's not clear whether any of the dogs were taken into custody.
