It’s a birthday celebration fit for, well, a meerkat.

Everyone at this zoo exhibit was invited to Chafu’s birthday bash.

Chafu the meerkat is turning 5-years-old

This little critter which is under two feet tall turns 5 this weekend and you’re invited to her party.

She's the alpha meerkat and mother of 16.

Chafu's male companion is named Guido. He's the father of all the meerkat babies born at the Houston Zoo.

When she's not taking care of her mob, that's what you call a group of meerkats, this furry mom enjoys digging tunnels, eating, and chasing bugs.

This caring mom also keeps watch for predators on the ground and in the sky.

Chafu's party is, where else, at the Houston Zoo.

The festivities begin at 10 a.m. Saturday and run through 3 p.m.
