Early birds get the T-shirt: UT fans get in line

Longhorn fans aren’t wasting anytime when it comes to getting the gear to commemorate the University of Texas’ win over the University of Southern California. KHOU-TV Longhorn fans flooded a local Academy early Thursday morning after Texas' victory over USC. Local Academy stores opened early Thursday morning to cater to Houston’s UT fan base. One fan got in line at 1 a.m. and was the first. Getting up early wasn’t too difficult for some. “It was pretty easy – she woke me up and said, ‘daddy we gotta get our T-shirts,’ so here we are,” one dad said. His wife graduated from UT, so he and his daughter were in line to get gear for the family.
