A new HISD school in southwest Houston needs one more thing to open this
August -- students.
Jean Hines Caldwell Elementary will be one of four new schools opening
in HISD this year.
Superintendent Abe Saavedra gave a tour of the school earlier Monday.
Although furniture is still being moved into the school, it's expected
to be opened in time for the 2005-2006 school year.
The new school will relieve overcrowding at Windsor Village and Red
Elementary schools.
