Houston's dowtown parking meters may soon do a little more than take
your money.
If things go according to plan, they may connect you to the Internet
with a "WiFi" network.
KHOU-TV How about connecting to the Internet to use a credit card for parking meters? It could happen.
The city plans to proceed with a way to allow parking meters to take
credit cards.
The Internet connection would make it possible to verify the credit card
information on the spot.
The the testing phase will be completed soon.
