U.S. POSTAL SERVICE

Investigators say postal employee Tara D. Mitchell helped plan the robbery.

Investigators say two armed men barged into the Oak Forest Station in the 2400 block of Judiway on April 15. They ordered two supervisors to open the safe, then pistol-whipped them. They fled without any money.

Postal Inspectors say Tara D. Mitchell, a temporary postal carrier assigned to the Oak Forest Station, helped plan the robbery.

They say she conspired with Robert Earl Jourdon and Sherrod Pegues.

Both men are in custody on aggravated robbery charges. Agents are still searching for Mitchell.
