The state Attorney General warns that you may not be able to call 911,
if you switch to broadband phone service.
It's a problem 11 News first exposed last week after a local girl
couldn't get help for her parents who were wounded during an armed home
invasion.
The law doesn't require broadband phone companies to provide 911
service, but local emergency officials are trying to change that.
A group of them plans to testify before the FCC in the coming weeks.
