WHARTON COUNTY, Texas — Highway 59 at County Road 423 in Wharton County reopened Monday afternoon after it was shut down in both directions due to an accident involving a propane truck, according to Texas Department of Public Safety officials.
The propane truck crashed around 5:30 a.m., just south of Wharton Airport.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved.
The highway was closed for couple of hours until crews cleared the scene.
