Missing 17-year-old with autism found safe

The Coast Guard is searching for a missing boater after a vessel capsized near the mouth of the Colorado River on Saturday morning.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A missing 17-year-old boy with autism has been found safe, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.  

Jacob Bordenkircher was found early Sunday morning. No other details were provided by deputies.

The teen was reported missing Saturday evening after he was last seen at a group home in the 100 block of Hambrick around 8:30 a.m. 

Authorities say he has "high functioning autism." 

He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, blue jeans, gray tennis shoes and a jacket tied around his waist.
