Racist graffiti spotted near Cullen Park this week was removed by city officials Wednesday.

HOUSTON - Racist graffiti spotted near Cullen Park this week was removed by city officials Wednesday.

A viewer spotted the "n" word on Groeske road which is between Mayde Creek High School and the park Tuesday.

Workers with the City of Houston's Department of Public Works and Engineering removed the graffiti Wednesday.

City officials say they rely on the community to let them know when something is not right or needs to be fixed in their neighborhood by calling 311.
