HOUSTON – Rescue crews are still searching for a person missing from an overturned boat on Cedar Bayou.
U.S. Coast Guard crews responded to the call for help Monday afternoon from a fishing vessel that overturned about three miles southeast of the Fred Hartman Bridge.
It's not clear if the boat is private or commercial. There were four people on board.
One passenger was trapped underneath the boat but later rescued and taken to the hospital.
The remaining two passengers were rescued by the Port Fire Boat and taken to Port of Houston Authority's Barbours Cut location.
We'll have more details as they become available.
