No injuries after car crashes into NW Houston store

A car crashed into a northwest Houston furniture store Thursday afternoon after witnesses say the driver stepped on the gas while trying to park the car.

HOUSTON - A car crashed into a northwest Houston furniture store Thursday afternoon after witnesses say the driver stepped on the gas while trying to park the car.

The incident occurred just after 2:30 p.m. Thursday at a store in the 4000 block of Gessner Road near Clay Road. A store employee says the man was trying to park his car, but he stepped on the gas instead of the brakes and went into the store.

According to the employee, no one was injured.
