Low water pressure forces early dismissal at Bellaire HS

BELLAIRE, Texas -- Low water pressure is affecting some residents and other facilities in the City of Bellaire, including Bellaire High School.

The school announced it is dismissing students early Tuesday because of the water issue.

Students who cannot be picked up by their parents will be relocated to nearby Meyerland Middle School, so parents can pick their kids up there after 11:30 a.m.

BellaireConnect posted the following message about the water pressure:

The City of Bellaire has reported that residents and businesses in the City may be experiencing low, or no, water pressure. This is due to a water main break on Alder Drive. City crews and contractors are working to address the issue now. The City does not have an estimate on how long it will take to complete the repairs at this time.
