Authorities find 76-year-old woman reported missing in Missouri City

UPDATE: Patricia Reger has been found safe.

MISSOURI CITY, Texas – Authorities are looking for a 76-year-old woman who walked away from her home Monday morning and has not been seen since.

According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, the missing woman has been identified as Patricia Reger, who lives with her husband in the 9900 block of Chriesman Way in the Sienna Plantation subdivision in the Missouri City area.

The residence is not far from Sienna Parkway to the west and Scanlan Trace East to the north.

Family members said Reger was last seen around 9 a.m. She is a white female about 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.

Her hair is cut short, above the ears. She was last seen wearing shorts and an unknown color T-shirt. She was carrying a medium-size black purse.

Reger suffers from dementia.
