Line of storms races east

A line of storms racing east at 30 to 40 mph dropped heavy rain brought gusty winds to the viewing area early Thursday morning.
Pea-sized hail was reported in Cleveland, and Conroe police said some trees there were damaged by the gusty wind.
The storm is expected to be out of the area by lunch.
Traffic was a mess for commuters.
"Reduced visbility, very heavy rain and very gusty wind," 11 News meteorologist David Paul said.

Thursday afternoon will have partly cloudy skies and a light breeze. The next cold front comes in Saturday, making Christmas mucn cooler.
