HOUSTON - A southeast Houston woman is alive thanks to a neighbor who rescued her from her burning home.
The fire was reported overnight Wednesday on Cavanaugh Street. The neighbor, Frank Broaden, used a crow bar to get the woman out of her home after he realized she was trapped.
The woman was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation but is reportedly OK.
