HUE Mural Festival set for this weekend

Downtown Houston is full of colorful art, and some of it will be showcased this weekend at the Houston Mural Festival. Sherry Williams is got a preview from the artists Wednesday morning.

HOUSTON – About 100 artists from around the state, the nation and the world are about join local artists for a week of outdoor artwork.

It is happening in the second annual HUE Mural Festival.

The art will be created outdoors, primarily downtown and in surrounding neighborhoods. 

Self-guided tours to see the art as it happens and the finished works are free. 

Tours by bus cost $40.
