HOUSTON - Houston Police are investigating the death of a 79-year-old man found outside City Hall early Wednesday.
Views from Air 11 showed the body was in a sub-street level corridor outside the building. Police believe the man fell into the concrete well and suffered a head injury.
He was found by contractors who were cleaning out the window well.
Police believe the man was homeless and nearby homeless outreach personnel said they think they know his identity.
While the body wasn’t discovered until Wednesday morning, police believe there’s a possibility he fell as early as Tuesday afternoon.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
