Bill Clinton in town campaigning for Bell

HOUSTON—Former President Bill Clinton is in town Monday to campaign for Chris Bell, Democratic candidate for Texas Senate, District 17.

Clinton is headlining a fundraising reception on behalf of Bell.

The other Democrat in the race is Stephanie Simmons.

Four republicans are also running for that seat, Austen Furse, Ken Sherman, Grant Harpold and Joan Huffman.
