Man tries to rob three Houston-area banks in 30 minutes

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this robber.
HOUSTON —The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is on the lookout for a man who attempted to rob three area banks Tuesday.
Police say the suspect entered the three area banks between 1:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. and demanded money by passing a note across the counter.
The first bank he attempted to rob was the Woodforest National Bank, located at 5655 East Sam Houston Parkway North. The second was the Washington Mutual Bank, located at 13378 Woodforest. The third was the Chase Bank at 15252 Wallisville.
Police say the suspect left the Woodforest and Chase banks empty-handed.

The suspect was seen fleeing the area in this black Nissan Titan pickup truck.
He is described as being between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He weighs between 150 to 170 pounds, is thin to medium build, light skinned, and has a short afro hairstyle. He was wearing a red pullover shirt with a white tee shirt underneath, dark pants and a white baseball cap.
The suspect was seen fleeing the area in a newer-model black Nissan Titan pickup truck.
