Members of the community group ACORN say CenterPoint failed to restore power to critical care patients and 70 percent of its customer base in a timely manner.
They are demanding a more efficient plan of action from CenterPoint during massive power outages.
But a CenterPoint Energy spokesperson said the company used workers from all over the country, and Canada, to try and restore power as quickly as possible.
As of Tuesday, 95 percent of CenterPoint customers have power.
