School alerts parents about abduction attempt

The Houston school district used a new phone dialing system to alert almost 500 families about an attempted abduction near Scarborough High School Wednesday morning.
Police say a man tried to snatch a Ninth grader as she was walking to school.
The teen told police the man tried to grab her on the corner of Antoine and Libby.
Luckily, the girl escaped unhurt.
