Four hurt in private school bus accident

Four people were hurt when a private school bus was rear-ended in northeast Houston Monday evening.

At least one child was hurt in the accident.
The van had pulled over near Bennington and Winton to drop a child off, when a TXDOT vehicle crashed into the back of it.
Three children and the van driver were taken to area hospitals to be checked out.
There injuries were not believed to be serious.
Their parents were being notified.
The van is run by Eric's School Bus Service.
We tried to reach the owner by phone but they refused to comment.
No one on the TXDOT van was hurt.
