The ordeal lasted nearly two hours near downtown, where a victim was tied to a chair as robbers stole property and his Mercedes.

The ordeal lasted about two hours.

HPD said it started when the victim was talking to the suspects on gay.com. He asked them to come over, and they arrived to his home in the 3900 block of Floyd at 10:15 p.m. Monday.

They got acquainted in the living room, and then police said the three men went upstairs to get sexually acquainted. While two of them were in the room, the other suspect roamed the house. Police said moments later, the suspect in the room pulled out a pocket knife and tied up the victim.

They tied him up to a chair, and he was banged up a little, with minor cuts to his face and back.

While the victim was tied up, the burglars took jewerly, a stereo, flat screen TVs and anything else they could get their hands on. According to the homeowner, up to $40,000 in property was lost.

They also made away with the victim's 2004 tan Mercedes coupe. The other suspect drove in the getaway vehicle, a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The victim told HPD that one of the suspects was apologetic, and the other was not.

Once the suspects were gone, the home owner broke free, went outside and yelled for help. A neighbor called 911.

In December 2005, a couple was murdered on the same street after returning home from a Christmas party. One suspect was later arrested in that case.
