Which way are gas prices going?

Having the sign on his truck will earn Ywaine Spiner around $27 each month.

It’s like some big adventure everyday for drivers, as they search for the lowest gas prices.

How does free gas sound?  You could be eligible.

When Ywaine Spiner bought his Ford F-150 last year he underestimated how much gas would really cost.

“I didn’t have the slightest clue, and I didn’t realize gas prices were going to rise so high either,” he said.

So Spiner started looking for ways to save money.  What he found was something even better: a program that gives him gas for free.

“Overall is just a great program,” Spiner said.  “You put magnet on.  You get paid for the magnet.  It helps in your fuel cost over the years and you really don’t have to do anything else.”

All he has to do is use his truck as a rolling billboard.

Ywaine Spiner is part of a pre-launch program from FreeGasHelp.com.  It’s program that’s coming to the Houston area looking for more drivers willing to use their vehicles for advertising in exchange for free gas.

He met all the criteria, including driving more than 1,000 miles a week.

He has had the sign for about two weeks.  His first gas card comes at the end of the month.

Spiner earns about $27 a month, which equals out to more than $300 a year.

“With gas prices rising so high every month, every little bit helps,” said Spiner.

“It’s not for me,” said Christina Doyle.  “It’s a good idea, though, I guess.”

“I would do it,” said Kasey Harvath.  “Really, free gas?  And I could get free gas?”

Spiner said it is really that simple.

He’s in it for the long haul, knowing his driving is really paying off.

Four to six weeks before entire program comes to Houston, FreeGasHelp.com is working with a couple a car dealerships for a location site.

They are looking to sign up about 500 drivers who met the criteria and are still enrolling people in the Houston-area before the pre-launch.
