Traffic alert: Southwest Fwy. shut down this weekend

Weekend drivers will have to bypass part of the Southwest Freeway until noon Sunday.

The inbound lanes will be closed from the West Loop to Highway 288 from 9 p.m. Friday until noon Sunday.

The outbound lanes from Hwy. 288 to Shepherd and Spur 527 will also be shut down during the same time period.
